The Northern Tier Sports Report – Drake HVAC Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning Athletes of the Week
Corning’s Brooke Terwilliger broke a section diving record, Northeast Bradford junior Gracelyn Laudermilch won the District 4 cross country title, and Athens freshman Connor Davidson scored six touchdowns against their most significant rival to take home this week’s Northern Tier Sports Report/ Drake HVAC Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning Athletes of the Week award.
Baseball
Corning’s Brooke Terwilliger set a Section IV diving record that no one had previously held, Northeast Bradford’s Gracelyn Laudermilch won District 4 cross country, and Athens Connor Davidson scored six touchdowns against his most significant rival to earn recognition from The Sports Reports/ Drake HVAC Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning as Northern Tier Sports Report regional “Athletes of the Week.” Also highlighted was Alfred University’s Taylor Malone. Softball
2023 was an exceptional year for local softball players. Corning’s DJ Cornfield and Elmira’s Johnnie Garcia shared boys athlete of the week honors, while Horseheads graduate Taylor Malone led her Alfred University team to its inaugural Empire 8 Championship title.
